Our eyes and brain work closely together to help us navigate the world. And when communication between them is compromised, it can have serious consequences for our overall quality of life.

Vision therapy is a non-surgical, supervised exercise routine aimed at retraining the learned aspects of vision. It has been of great benefit to children and adult patients alike, correcting or mitigating visual issues such as:
While not a cure for learning disabilities, vision therapy can help children by addressing optical problems that interfere with learning, reading, and receiving instructional cues.
After a thorough and in-depth eye examination to rule out problems with visual acuity and other health issues, we will discuss your vision problems with you. This discussion will include a series of questions related to daily issues, work and school performance, coordination, balance, and more. We will then conduct a series of eye exercises and reading assessments to address the eye-brain connection and strengthen the visual system.
In our clinic, we offer a range of exercises and, depending on your needs, may use prisms or special lenses as part of your tailored vision therapy routine.
If we feel you could better benefit from additional or accelerated vision therapy services, we will provide you with a referral to a local licensed vision therapy specialist. Our team will work with them to assist your vision therapy and eye care treatments.
Our brand-new clinic is located in River Heights, on the south side of the beautiful Bow River. You’ll find us across the highway from the Community of Fireside, beside Cochrane Dodge.
